Get started

Start mining EarthMine

Getting started takes one change to your miner. No software installation, no control handoff. Just point your pool connection at the EarthMine node and begin.

Four simple steps

Follow this setup process to connect your hardware and start mining.

1. Point your pool URL at EarthMine

In your miner settings, set the pool to stratum+tcp://pool.earthmine.org:3333. This is the only change required on your hardware.

2. Set your wallet address as the worker

Use your cryptocurrency wallet address as the worker name. This ensures payouts for accepted shares go directly to you.

3. Save and let it connect

Save your settings and restart your miner. Once connected, you will begin receiving work from the EarthMine node.

4. Watch accepted shares

Monitor your miner dashboard for accepted shares. Each accepted share contributes to a potential block reward and nonprofit impact allocation.

First, get a wallet

Your wallet address is where your mined DHN is paid. You need one before you start. It is free and takes about two minutes.

What is an EVM wallet?

EVM stands for Ethereum Virtual Machine. DiamondHash runs on the same technology as Ethereum, so it uses the same wallet format: an address that starts with 0x followed by 40 characters.

“Any EVM wallet” means any wallet that works with Ethereum, such as MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, or Rabby. They all create the same kind of 0x address, and any of them works for mining DiamondHash.

The wallet is yours alone. You hold the keys. EarthMine never sees or stores them.

Make one with MetaMask

  1. 1Install MetaMask, the free app or browser extension, from metamask.io. Use only the official site.
  2. 2Choose “Create a new wallet” and set a password.
  3. 3Write down your 12-word secret recovery phrase on paper and keep it safe. This phrase is your wallet. Anyone who has it controls your funds.
  4. 4Copy your address, the 0x… string at the top. That is what you enter in your miner.

Never share your secret recovery phrase or private key. No one from EarthMine will ever ask for it. Never type it into this website, the explorer, a pool, or your miner. Only your public 0xaddress goes into the miner’s worker field, and an address is safe to share.

Your connection details

These are the live DiamondHash mainnet pool settings. Enter them in your miner exactly as shown.

miner-config.conf
$cat pool-config.conf

Pool URL:stratum+tcp://pool.earthmine.org:3333
Worker:YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS.rig-name
Password:x

Replace YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS with a wallet address you control (any standard 0x EVM address, for example from MetaMask). Your mining rewards are tracked to this address, so use one whose keys you hold. The rig name after the dot is any label you choose.

DiamondHash is a new mainnet in its launch phase. Block rewards are split 90% to the miner, 5% to development, and 5% to verified nonprofit impact. Watch your accepted shares in your miner dashboard, and follow the network live on the transparency explorer.

The pool fee is a flat 1%, published openly and deducted only when you are paid. There are no hidden cuts. Payouts have a minimum of 5 DHN, and earnings below that carry over and accumulate to your next payout, so nothing is lost. This keeps payouts meaningful and avoids wasting network fees on tiny amounts.

No account or signup. Your wallet is your identity.

There is nothing to register and no password to create with EarthMine. The wallet address you enter as your worker is your account. Rewards are paid straight to that address on the blockchain.

The x in the password field is a standard placeholder used by every mining pool. It logs in nothing and protects nothing. Enter it exactly as shown.

Use an address whose private key you hold (set up once in your own wallet app, such as MetaMask). Double-check it before you start: payouts follow the address you type, and blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. Never enter a seed phrase or private key on this site or in your miner.

You stay in control

Nothing is installed on your miner. EarthMine works over the standard mining protocol and requires no modifications to your hardware.

EarthMine never sends control, reconnect, or shutdown commands to your miner. Your hardware remains fully under your control at all times.

You can repoint your miner to any other pool or network at any moment, with no penalty or friction. You own the hardware and you decide where it mines.
