Email communication
If you send an email to hello@earthmine.org, we receive your email address, message content, and any attachments you include. We use this information only to read and respond to your inquiry. We do not sell, share, or use your email for marketing purposes. We keep emails for as long as necessary to address your question and then delete them.
If you request to be added to a mailing list, we store your email address only for the purpose of sending updates you have explicitly requested. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to an email or contacting us directly.
Blockchain and public ledger data
EarthMine operates a proof-of-work network with a public, append-only ledger. This ledger records accepted work and impact allocations in a way that anyone can view and verify. This is by design, not oversight.
The public ledger contains wallet addresses and share data associated with mining activity. This information is inherently public because the blockchain is publicly auditable. When you mine on EarthMine, your wallet address and the shares you contribute become part of this public record. This is how transparency works on the network.
If you value privacy on the blockchain itself, you can use wallet addresses that you do not associate with your personal identity. EarthMine does not link wallet addresses to real-world identities.
Server logs and hosting
EarthMine's website is hosted by a third-party provider. Like all web servers, this may generate standard server logs that include your IP address, the pages you visited, the time of your visit, and your browser type. These logs are used only for server maintenance, security, and debugging. They are not used for profiling or tracking.
The mining network itself (the EarthMine node) operates separately from this website. Mining activity is logged for network operation and health, not for personal profiling. The logs are retained only as long as needed for network maintenance.
