Hardware rescue

Stranded hardware deserves a second chance.

Were you sold a miner that turned out to be fake, locked, or abandoned by a vendor who vanished? Send us the details. EarthMine will honestly evaluate whether your hardware can be brought back to useful life on our network.

We will be straight with you.

We will be straight with you. Some devices can be repurposed. Some were never real miners and cannot be saved. We do not promise miracles. We promise an honest assessment and, where it is possible, a real path to put your hardware to work.

What we can often help with

The kind of hardware we want to hear about.

If you were scammed or stranded with something like this, it is worth asking. There may be real compute inside that can do honest work.

Vendor-locked or abandoned miners

Hardware from a company that disappeared, stopped supporting it, or locked you out of the device you paid for.

Fake or rebranded mining boxes

Devices marketed as miners for a coin or project that turned out to be a scam, but that contain real, usable compute.

Stranded proof-of-work hardware

Working hardware that speaks a standard mining protocol but has nowhere honest left to point.

This program is for stranded scam or obsolete hardware. It is not for standard, supported miners that already work fine on their own networks.

What we need

Tell us about the device.

The more detail you can share, the better we can judge whether EarthMine can bring your hardware back to life.

  • The make, model, and any branding on the device
  • What you were told it was, and what went wrong
  • Photos of the unit and any labels or boards you can safely open to
  • Any pool, app, or firmware details you still have

Send us your hardware rescue request.
